Working for McDonald’s in the Philippines is a respectable job for a large franchise. Because of this, the people who work at McDonalds’s or any other fast food chain in the Philippines are very friendly, and do their jobs to the best of their ability. Even the security guard at the door, not only greets you and opens the door, but I have seen them cleaning tables when they have free time, without being asked. The food also looks almost exactly like it does in the advertisements, which is more than I can say for some of the places I’ve been to while living in California and Nevada.
Having spent most of my early years in Los Angeles, and burgers being one of my favorite foods, I have been to many McDonald’s franchises throughout Southern California. What I remember was that among my friends, working at a fast food place seemed like a last resort. Therefore, the quality of the staff at said establishments wasn’t always one of high caliber. One thing I can say is that the taste has always been pretty consistent, whether I go to McDonald’s at Glendale Galleria or McDonald’s at Mall of Asia. But isn’t that why we go to franchises, for consistency? So aside from that, I would have to say that as far as ambiance and enjoyability, #itsmorefuninthephilippines. “Love ko to!”
